A delightful, dog-friendly ground floor apartment right in the heart of Whitby. With mesmerising sea views from the livingroom, the master bedroom and from the outside seating area, this holiday property is ideal for couples or a small family wanting to be close to everything but still be able to enjoy the relaxing sound of the sea. This 200 year old apartment is within a traditional cottage setting and oozes character. It has one double and one twin bedroom, an open plan living room and dining area and a separate kitchen where you'll find everything you need for a comfortable stay including a dishwasher and washing machine. There is also a house bathroom with a bath and over bath shower. The outside seating area isn't private but it only shares the space with our neighbouring property, Quayside Cottage, so it isn't a busy through way.
For walks try Tate Hill Beach or Whitby Abbey grounds they're great places to stretch legs in any season and you’re a stone’s throw from both. 7 Sandside is on the ground floor but with steep, narrow steps from the front door to the street, so it's not suitable for everyone.

The Local Area
With Whitby Abbey and the beach right on the doorstep, this is a great location for exploring the town and there's plenty of cafes, restaurants and pubs nearby too. Don't forget to make time to call in for some freshly smoked kippers from Fortune's smokehouse or take a stroll to the lighthouse and take in the fresh sea air. The nearest car park is ten to fifteen minutes’ walk away.
