Absolutely loved it. The views were incredible and the cottage was beautiful, it was easy accessible. The only problem was the entrance hall leaks when it rains so couldn’t leave anything in there, the Wi-Fi didn’t work but shoreline provided us with a router. The house was lovely, ideal for our needs & exactly as described. Great location - quiet, but close to Whitby, local train station and bus park & ride for Whitby. We had plenty of space for extended family & 2 kids, with hot-tub and games room being big winners. The house was spotless & well-equipped. Only (small) drawback was no facility for recycling? "Up the Creek" is an excellent apartment, large, well laid out, great views over the river. Easy walking to the town centre, and also easy access to areas to walk a dog.
