The Local Area
As its name suggests, some rooms in the house offer distant views of Whitby Abbey. In fact it’s a lovely twenty minutes’ stroll to the famous 199 Steps that lead to the Abbey grounds. On your way you’ll pass cafes, Captain Cook’s Memorial Museum and shops selling Whitby Jet. The historic swing bridge lets you cross to the Marina, Train Station and a number of outstanding fish and chip restaurants.
Please note that the exact location of the property may differ slightly from the map.
Thank you so much for your very efficient and courteous service. This is a typical example of Shoreline service, well done.
Excellent holiday stay and sorry forgot to write in visitor's book. Second stay with Shoreline and delighted with cottage for our group. Good TV and Wi-Fi for teenagers and play area for younger one.
We have been using Shoreline for many years now and always find the cottages and service excellent. We have already re booked Abbey View for two visits next year
