Description

You have to see Hoggarth House to truly appreciate how superb this four-bedroom, four-bathroom house is. For a modern property it has tons of style, and the layout works brilliantly for large families and groups. It’s bright and modern with stunning rooms throughout. It really is sumptuous.

On entering the property from the rear, you discover a large, well equipped utility room – just perfect in the colder months for getting out of walking shoes and coats. From the ground-floor hall you’ll be drawn to the social kitchen diner. The double oven, island bar and large table mean everyone can join in preparing food or just enjoying a drink while waiting to eat.

The sitting room is beautifully furnished and offers a great space for getting together after dinner or to watch your favourite TV programme. Incidentally, this property has a smart TV in every bedroom and one the kitchen as well – so no need to fight over which channel to watch!

There’s a great feeling of space in the four bedrooms located on the first and second floors. The master suite, with super-king bed, feels enormous and its southeast-facing balcony overlooking the courtyard is a real treat. Two of the bedrooms are en-suite, one has a Juliet balcony and there is a further bathroom for each for the other two bedrooms.

There is one allocated parking space directly outside the property plus on-street parking and public car parking nearby

The Local Area

Hoggarth House is one row back from the river Esk and marina on Whitby’s East Side, so there’s plenty going on. You have good road connections that avoid crowded central routes, meaning Whitby Abbey, Saltwick Bay (and a big Sainsbury’s) are a short drive. The 10 minute, easy walk to the Swing Bridge and Whitby’s cobblestone heart passes some of our favourite pubs, like The Endeavour which has live music many Saturdays.
