Whitby tourists – Mr Birch

We all have our reasons for loving Whitby. Here’s a selection of tourists we’ve chatted to in the town to find out what keeps enticing them back time and time again…..

I used to visit Whitby as a child so I have some very happy memories here. We bring the family and come once or twice a year and usually stay in a holiday cottage for about a week. The beach is lovely and there’s lots to do all within walking distance of the town. It’s quiet and quaint and we love the heritage. It’s a good holiday destination!
