23 March – 14 April 2024 – Easter Adventure Quest – Whitby Abbey.
Explore the abbey grounds to hunt for clues and challenges and discover traditional Easter games like egg rolling and the egg and spoon race. Great fun for the kids.
26 – 28 April 2024 – Whitby Goth Weekend.
The Whitby Goth Weekend is an alternative festival incorporating the Bizarre Bazaar Alternative Market which features over 100 indoor stalls and is now one of the world’s most premiere event of it’s kind.
4 – 6 May 2024 – Gothic Falconry – Whitby Abbey.
The Falconry displays will take place in the Cloister area of the abbey. Displays will take place at 11am, 1pm and 3pm and last for approximately 30 minutes.
18 – 19 May 2024 – Whitby Fish & Ships Festival.
A celebration of Whitby’s Maritime history. There will be live music, cookery demonstrations, heritage activities and all-round family fun.
May 25 – 2 June 2024 – Kids Rule – Whitby Abbey
Travel back in time and meet characters from the past at the Kids Rule events this May half-term. Pirate themed hands-on activities and fresh-air family fun.

A charity beer festival is held in aid of Whitby & District Lion’s Club. serving over 30 of the very best artisan ales, boutique beers and ciders from award-winning local and regional independent brewers and micro-breweries.
