David Bellamy Brings Health Festival To Whitby In Time For Christmas

One of Britain’s best loved wildlife enthusiasts, David Bellamy visits Whitby this Christmas.

Ready to tackle emotional, spiritual and physical problems to get both residents and visitors in the perfect Christmas spirit is David Bellamy OBE, the British broadcaster, environmentalist and botanist from County Durham.
Paying a fleeting visit to Whitby this Saturday (8th December), Dr Bellamy will be launching the Festival of Future Health, which has been created by James Fearnley from The Dispensary in Whitby. The festival includes a wide range of ten minutes talks, aiming to highlight how people can improve not only their physical health, but their social and cultural health too.

From bee keeping and ceramics to acupuncture, this festival offers the perfect opportunity to rekindle your community spirit this Christmas, recalling that sense of giving that makes Christmas everyone’s favourite time of year.

Dr Bellamy aims to remind people of the importance of the community culture with the help of key figures including town councillors, therapeutic counsellors and even poets. Taking place this Saturday from 10am until 5pm, the event will be held at Whitby Coliseum Centre on Victoria Place, and will coincide with the launch of The Dispensary’s new shop.
