Our team is based in two locations; York and Whitby. The team in York handle all the marketing, administration and accounts for the business while those in Whitby deal with all housekeeping, guest services and property maintenance.
Our business model differs from our local and national competitors in that we take over every aspect of running your holiday let.
We are your marketing team, we deal with all your administration from booking confirmations to arrival information. We act as a concierge service to your guests, we are your local maintenance team and we deal with every element of customer service.
This leaves you free from any contact with guests and able to relax knowing that an experienced, conscientious business is looking after your property asset.
David – Managing Director

David has formed and owned successful businesses since the age of 25. He has no interest in anything but high quality products and service. Shoreline reflects his approach to business with a stunning portfolio of properties and a great team to look after them.

Kerry – Property Account Manager

Kerry joined Shoreline four years ago. As we manage ever more properties and government regulations continue to widen, we need to ensure that you as an owner, remain compliant. Kerry does much more than this and is your first point of contact for any remedial work, accounting issues, property audits, annual property performance reports and can help if you need an answer to something about your property.
Billy – Whitby Manager

Billy has been part of the team for over 15 years and in that time has seen the business change from simply looking after the owner’s properties to the current growing business, offering a comprehensive range of services. To say that Billy has an unmatched understanding of every property is an understatement. He is popular with everyone and can never do enough to please both guests and owners alike.
His role breaks into two principle parts: guest services and property management. He makes sure that guests have a great holiday and leave happy in the hope that they will return. As an owner, you need to know that your property is in safe hands and Billy ensures that it is well maintained, safe and operated cost effectively.
Julia – Housekeeping Manager

Julia has been part of the team for 15 years. She is married to Billy and they form a formidable local property management team. Julia has responsibility for laundry services and the recruitment, training and management of our ever growing cleaning team.
Housekeeping is much more than just cleaning. Your property needs to be ‘set up’ before every guest arrives to be sure that it is presented at its very best and is warm and welcoming.
Cleaning a holiday cottage is much more demanding than cleaning a home and she personally ensures that our high standards are always met.
Andy – Property Manager

Andy works very closely with Billy and Julia but his primary responsibility is dealing with the property exteriors. This includes all areas that impact on the property aesthetics.
He mows the lawns, plants up gardens and hanging baskets and makes outside areas look well-kept and inviting. Before guests arrive, leaves are swept up and taken away, back doors are wiped down, outside lights are checked and cleaned, drain covers are cleared and outside furniture is washed down and repaired if required. A job that keeps Andy busy all year round!
Annemieke – Sales & Marketing Manager

Annemieke (Anna for short) has been working in marketing for over 20 years but has been the sales & marketing manager for Shoreline for 6 years.
As you might imagine, in a small business such as Shoreline she has a wide range of responsibilities from dealing with customer enquiries to keeping track of SEO performance. In particular, the content of our website is under her watchful and detail conscious eye. Our brand is a key component in our differentiation from our competitors – she makes sure we never damage it!
Of course, there are many strands to the marketing activities we undertake – email campaigns, affiliate marketing, PPC advertising, SEO activity and social media. All of these form an important part of her work.
Mandy – Sales & Marketing Assistant

Mandy has been a member of the team for 3 years and works very closely with Anna. Between them, they ensure the phone is covered 5 days a week. As well as answering incoming calls Mandy also deals with our third-party marketing platforms ensuring the descriptions, photos, pricing and offers are kept up-to-date.
She tracks our competitor activity every week so we can keep a close eye on their performance and she also deals with guest issues and customer feedback. Our website is updated regularly with new content including local events and interesting blog posts. Mandy plays a big part in researching this content before it’s published.
Our Cleaning Team
Our small team of cleaners are reliable and conscientious. They ensure every guest changeover is efficiently managed and cleaned to the same high standard.
As you can imagine, cleaning a full portfolio of properties when they are fully booked, back-to-back over the peak holiday seasons takes some skill and organisation!
They take pride in their work and strive to give our guests the best service possible.
