Shoreline was set up in 1999 to provide a complete service to both holidaymakers and cottage owners alike. So, whether you’re new to the holiday rental market or a seasoned investor, we’re serious about realising a great return for you.
We’re a small company (and that’s a good thing!)
Because we’re small, we’re able to offer you a personal service. You’ll usually speak with the same person when you call or email us, depending on what you need, which in turn results in a strong relationship. In the early stages, we’ll personally visit you at your property to talk you through our services and we’ll happily meet you face-to-face later down the line if you’d like to discuss your property’s performance.
Our portfolio isn’t too big
Having a small portfolio means we know every property inside out. It means your property is not one on a huge list – it will stand out and be seen. Guests often ask a lot of questions before booking so each member of the team will visit your property to ensure they are fully informed and represent your property accurately in our marketing. We write up your property description in-house and ensure it has a strong Google ranking value. We highlight key search features to make it easier for guests to find exactly what they want. We also use a professional photographer for all your property imagery and virtual 360 tours.
The service we offer
Our owners want different services depending on their situation, so we offer a service flexible to your needs. We understand that some prefer to manage and maintain their property themselves and only need Shoreline to act as a marketing and booking agent. However, many of our owners live a fair distance from their holiday rental property and want the peace of mind that someone can take care of the full running of it for them. We can give you that peace of mind. We have a brilliant local team who will take care of the everyday running of your holiday property as well as all your housekeeping and maintenance needs. From changing a light bulb to dealing with a broken boiler, we can take care of it. We can also help to ensure your property is compliant with the ever-widening Government regulations.

We have a large number of returning guests and our mailing list is growing all the time. It’s a big promise but our results speak for themselves: Shoreline provides an average of 38 bookings at each property every year – not many holiday letting agents can say that!
Taking care of our guests
We provide unrivalled customer service to our guests. Again, because we’re a small company, we deliver a personal service and we get to know our regular customers well. Our housekeeping and maintenance team work from 9am to 7pm, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and are always ready to help if a guest has lost their key or needs a sink unblocking. We also have our emergency out of hours cover that’s in operation from 7pm to 9am, 7 days a week, 365 days a year so our guests have peace of mind that they’ll be looked after no matter the time of day or night.
We’re here for you too
We can advise you on the whole process, from recommending which property to purchase to forecasting your rental income. We also have a fantastic Owner Portal that provides analytics such as booking sources, values and profit, customer feedback as well as useful accounting tools including an HMRC summary.
Our working hours
Our office is open Monday to Friday from 10am – 6pm but we reply to quotations, enquiries and booking requests way past the time we close as well as over the weekend. Our maintenance team are available from 9am – 7pm, 7 days a week all year round (including Christmas Day!). That’s just another reason how Shoreline stands out from the crowd.
