Description

Hibwin House is an attractive, four-storey town house for up to six guests and two dogs. It’s on a quaint one-way street in central Whitby within easy walking distance of the quayside and the beach. Although built around 1820, Hibwin was completely renovated in 2022 and is truly a superb holiday home offering sleek, modern and thoughtful design and an exceptional finish.

Set over four floors, you’ll enter the ground-floor hallway where you can kick off your shoes hang your coats. Through to the smart kitchen-diner, where every convenience has been considered. Up to the first floor is a swanky lounge with Freeview TV, and huge windows with views of Silver Street and beyond. The convenient extra shower room on this level makes life easy when you have a full house.

The three bedrooms and another two bathrooms are on the third and fourth floors. There are two kings and one twin room (we can zip the twin beds into a king-size and provide a cot when required). The uppermost room offers lovely views across the river to Whitby Abbey and benefits from its own fabulous en suite.

There is allocated parking on the property, just 20 paces away - a great benefit in central Whitby.

The Local Area

Take a wander to the harbour or head to the Whalebone Arch and beach – you’re in a fantastic spot to explore Whitby on foot. The famous Botham’s bakery is round the corner, or the freshest seafood from the morning’s catch just moments away. Spot the vintage steam trains at Whitby Train Station or cross the swing bridge to the cobbled East Side for lots of Whitby Jet jewellers and Whitby Abbey.
