Description

When you want to be in the thick of it, but above the sightline of pedestrians and hum of daily life, you will love the superb location of Carols Cottage on Flowergate – one of Whitby’s oldest streets.

This is an elegant apartment, ideal for couples or a family sharing a king-size double bedroom and a twin. It is beautiful, bright and airy, and the design truly unifies the building’s Grade II Listed history with contemporary class.

If you’re arriving by car, unload close to the alleyway door before relocating your vehicle to a public car park or private Shoreline parking bay nearby. The apartment is above a quiet store, and within seconds you’ll feel a world away from the captivating lanes below.

It is kitted out to a high spec and the three floors of Carols Cottage ensure everyone has space to relax, work or play. Over three floors, there is a twin bedroom, a good-sized family bathroom, and a serene king-size double bedroom with sea views and a bonus ensuite. The open plan lounge-kitchen-diner offers partial sea views and includes a comforting gas stove for cosy nights in.

Carols Cottage successfully marries history with modern luxury in a convenient location – it is an ideal combination.

Shoreline cottages are always very clean modern and attractive inside. I stayed at Carol's cottage in Flowergate, near the centre of the town, so close to all the amenities including the bus and train station, very useful as I dont have a car. this is one of the main reasons I go to whitby, so easy to get to so many places nearby by bus. there are many shops and restaurants in whitby, plus the beach and harbour. Shoreline send a very comprehensive guidebook when you book with them. any issues can be sorted with them or the cottage owner, contact phone numbers provided.

Mr B. Accrington.

We found Carols Cottage to exceed all expectations, there was everything needed and beautifully furnished to the highest quality, great central location with fantastic views of the Harbour & Abbey but just off the main thoroughfare making it peaceful, would definitely stay here again, thank you,
