Beachside Cottage is a comfortable bolt hole for a break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life in the highly regarded seaside village of Sandsend. With its 3 mile long, golden beach the village offers great walks, to the busier Whitby.
The accommodation is spacious and well laid out for families or groups of friends. On the ground floor is a large dining hall, sitting room with a wood burning stove and a side bay window delivering glorious views of the sea that is just a few metres away.
The property boasts a galley kitchen with dishwasher, fridge/freezer and cooker. In fact there is everything you need to rustle up a family dinner or to serve the best of local fish and chips! A utility room and ground floor toilet and cloakroom complete this floor.
On the first floor you will discover two double bedrooms, one having stunning sea views plus a well equipped bathroom with bath and separate walk in shower and last but by no means least on the upper floor you will discover two twin bedrooms - one of which has amazing sea views and a modern, bathroom with walk in shower. Unusually, all bedrooms also benefit from their hand basins.

The Local Area
You’ll probably need a car if you want to travel down to Whitby. Parking is two minutes away in the public car park and there’s the village store close by, where you can pick up essentials. For a big shop head out to the Spar or Sainsbury’s nearer Whitby. There are several little beach front cafés or for eating out try The Hart Inn, around 20 minutes’ stroll round the bay.

It was brilliant! My family met for the first time in 18 months, the sun shone and the icing on the cake ........ we saw 3 dolphins from the window of the cottage!!!! It was so good that the day I came home was the day I booked it again for next year! Thank you
We enjoyed our holiday of three weeks very much.The property was lovely and spacious and so close to the beach which we loved. Everything was very clean and tidy and so comfortable for us all. We will make a return visit at some point. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
