Henrietta Cottage: OverviewHenrietta Cottage is located in a cobbled cul-de-sac just yards from the foot of the 199 steps that lead up to Whitby Abbey. The street ends with spectacular views over the harbour, and it is here you will find what is probably Fortunes, the most famous kipper shop in the country.
Inside you'll find Henrietta a surprisingly spacious - more so than most Whitby holiday cottages. Timber beams and a brick fireplace with a living flame gas fire give the large living room character and warmth, while the kitchen is modern and well equipped. This cottage is now equipped with free Wi-Fi access.
Stairs lead up to the large, first floor double bedroom and house bathroom with shower facilities. A further set of steep stairs leads to the second bedroom located in the roof space - complete with twin beds and a dormer window overlooking the small back yard.
Henrietta Cottage backs on to the cliff face. It is two minutes' walk from the nearest shops and only half a mile from the railway station. Parking is in public car parks, the nearest of which is approximately a 15 minute walk away.
