An incredible, pet-friendly house for groups of ten guests. You’re near Pannett Park and five minutes’ walk to town and the beach. Enjoy features and facilities rarely found on such a scale.Add to shortlist Share
Adventure House is rich in Victorian features and modern facilities. Uniquely, there are four free parking spaces across the quiet back road, behind which is a small garden and barbecue area. You get a pretty front garden and enclosed rear yard too so children, and your four-legged friends, can play safely.
Over four floors there are five bedrooms and four bathrooms - most are en suite and have over-bath showers. We’re in awe of the first floor house bathroom – it’s like a magazine spread with its roll top bath and walk in shower. Choose from two super-impressive master rooms: one featuring a Jacuzzi en suite bathroom, the other boasting a roomy Super king size bed. Or opt for one of the two generous doubles or the lovely twin room on the top floor.
The ground floor kitchen is well equipped for creating your seaside suppers whilst the dining room has ample room for serving up the local fish and chips! There's a small utility downstairs too, housing a washer, drier and a large fridge freezer. Up to eight of you can sit down to watch Sky, Freeview or a DVD in the lounge. There's another TV sitting room on the second floor when you want to watch different channels or children want to play using the free Wi-Fi.
Please note, the entrance is round the back – take care as the steps are quite steep.

The Local Area
Adventure House is tucked away off the main road to town. In five minutes you can walk to the shops, restaurants or station to catch the daily steam trains to Pickering. The Station Inn on New Quay Road is a popular place to pause on your walk back. For exercise try Pannett Park or climb the 199 steps to Whitby Abbey. Miles of sandy beaches or North York Moors are yours to explore on foot or by car. For a dog-friendly pub we recommend The First In Last Out on Fishburn Road.
Please note that the exact location of the property may differ slightly from the map.
